Freedom Flotilla Activist denies “Terrorist” Tag of Israel

Israel and its lobby, in order to crush the global uproar against its illegal commando operation on Freedom Flotilla, has started referring to the activists on board Marvi Marmara as “Terrorists.” As much insane this may sound to the general public, here the activists gives a much clearer picture (prepare to face his boldness):

Note: There is a Jewish Flotilla scheduled for July to break the inhuman Israeli siege of Gaza.

Freedom Flotilla: Humanitarian Aid to Gaza is a Sin and Crime against God

By Umer Sultan

Source: FB Page "Wake Up Muslims"

Israel attacked the aid ship directed towards Gaza, leaving about 19 people dead and 60 wounded. The Israeli Defense Forces used live ammunition on the ship at the unarmed solidarity activists, mostly from Turkey.

The stormed ship (Mavi Marmara) was leading five other aid ships and had solidarity activists, aid leaders, and journalist from different countries aboard. At this moment there is no news as to who is dead and wounded. 2 Pakistani journalists [video] are among those missing and one of them is Talat Hussein from Pakistani AAJ TV, a very critical, outspoken and respected journalist in Pakistan.

Turkey, the long friend of Israel got really ticked off at the military strike by Israel and has pulled Turkish ambassador from Israel. Turkey has also threatened Israel, even with a possibility that Turkey will send more aid ships with the escort of Turkish Navy…you know what that could mean right! Greece has cancelled its joint military exercise. Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan said:

“It should be known that we will not stay silent and unresponsive in the face of this inhuman state terror,” Press TV.

President Obama has only this to say:

How to Win a Cosmic War by Reza Aslan

“How to Win a Cosmic War: God, Globalization, and the End of the War on Terror” by Reza Aslan, is one of the best books I read on current events lately. It talks about the War on Terror and the Radicals and Extremists ideology/movements among Christians, Jews and Muslims.

Cosmic War?

I was asked what is this Cosmic War, and while I was writing this my friend asked me the same question. So what is Cosmic War, the author describes it in detail through out his book and I will try to summarize it in a paragraph or two:

A cosmic war is a religious war. It is a conflict in which God is believed to be directly engaged on one side over the other. Unlike a holy war–an earthly battle between rival religious groups–a cosmic war is like a ritual drama in which participants act out on earth a battle they believe is actually taking place in the heavens…

A cosmic war transforms those who should be considered butchers and thugs into soldiers sanctioned by God. It turns victims into sacrifices and justifies the most depraved acts of destruction because it does not abide by human conceptions of morality…

A cosmic war partitions the world into black and white, good and evil, us and them. In such a war, there is no middle ground; everyone must choose a side. Soldier and civilian, combatant and noncombatant, aggressor and bystander–all the traditional divisions that serve as markers in a real war break down in cosmic wars. It is a simple equations: if you are not us, you must be them. If you are them, you are the enemy and must be destroyed.

Polls find little evidence as to Iranian public sees government as illegitimate

So all that stuff you just got done watching few weeks back when the US Media was all hyped, this survey is an eye openor. United States should not take any foolish step against Iran, when Iran poses no threat to the United States, and has given no ill intention either! Please read below! [Umer Sultan]

————–

Indications of fraud in the June 12 Iranian presidential election, together with large-scale street demonstrations, have led to claims that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did not actually win the election, and that the majority of Iranians perceive their government as illegitimate and favor regime change.

An analysis of multiple polls of the Iranian public from three different sources finds little evidence to support such conclusions.

The analysis conducted by the Program on International Policy Attitudes at the University of Maryland (PIPA), was based on:

a series of 10 recently-released polls conducted by the University of Tehran; eight conducted in the month before the June 12 election and two conducted in the month after the election, based on telephone interviews conducted within Iran.

a poll by GlobeScan conducted shortly after the election, based on telephone interviews conducted within Iran.

a poll by WorldPublicOpinion.org (managed by PIPA) conducted August 27-September 10, based on telephone interviews made by calling into Iran.

Supporters of Mousavi protesting in Iran.

The study sought to address the widely-discussed hypotheses that Ahmadinejad did not win the June 12 election and that the Iranian people perceive their government as illegitimate. It also sought to explore the assumption that the opposition represents a movement favoring a substantially different posture toward the United States. The analysis of the data found little evidence to support any of these hypotheses.

Examining the Washington Post Article: Poor schooling slows anti-terrorism effort in Pakistan

On January 17, 2010, the Washington Post, one of the top US Newspaper, published an article by Griff Witte entitled “Poor schooling slows anti-terrorism effort in Pakistan.”  The article contained some serious misinformation, and misrepresentation whether intended to be or it just happened to be there by accident.  Below are what I think important ones to be discussed.

The Problem and US Aid:

The problem of the Pakistani Education System[1] is known by Pakistanis, and it is a recognized problem. For decades the United States has funnelled US Tax Payer’s Dollars to mainly Pakistani Army in “aid” and either to the corrupt “democratic” government or to the US sponsored Dictatorship in Pakistan!

For the first time in the history of this Pak-US alliance, US President Obama will be sending US $ in “aid” not for the Pakistani Military but instead for the Educational System of Pakistan!

So Washington Post in regards to this very seroius problem in Pakistan- which is ignored by the corrupt elite, the so called Democratic governments, and also ignored by US sponsored Dictatorships- has just further increased the misconception of the Americans.

American Public is very ill-informed about Pakistan and has many misconceptions about Islam. Thanks goes to the American Media, that is designed or has happened to evolve is such a way that the usual reportings on these topics are just based on bunch of lies, phobias, assumptions and generalizations. Washington Post, NY Times, Chicago Tribune and many more mainstream newspaper mediums share some what the same amount of “problem” relating to reporting the issues in the Muslim World, in particular of Pakistan in this case.

Examining the Article & the Real Issue:
